About Mondovi Housing AuthorityPublic Housing 1 bedroom HUD subsidized apartments. Owns and manages the Highland Apartments.
The non-profit organization, Mondovi Housing Authority, owns and manages the Highland Apartments to provide a safe and affordable home for elderly, disabled, and other independent living residents. Prospective residents must apply and income-qualify. Rent is based upon a percentage of income, and not assets, after medical expenses. The rent includes heat, electricity, water/sewer, and garbage service. Cable television is available at reduced rate ($60.00/mo.), and is in addition to the monthly rent. Telephone service is arranged independently by each tenant and paid for directly to the phone service provider (not included in the monthly rent). All interested tenants must apply. There is nearly always a waiting list for apartments (you must apply to be added to the waiting list). Call for more information. *Background checks are a standard part of the application process.
